This was my first real quilt. The story of my difficulties (and foolhardiness) with choosing such a difficult pattern for a first quilt is too long to go into here. But here it is, that's Granbaby on it below. What you don't see is me, crouched down behind the table, propping her upright :)  I cross stitched her name, location and date of birth, weight and length in the cornerstones in rainbow floss
