I should have named this bargello tabletopper "Nightmare" :) When I did it I didn't know about the easy strip method, or for that matter, rotory cutters. I cut each 1" x 2" rectangle by hand, lumped them into little piles according to fabric, and tried to follow the pattern on the side of a rose and green basket I'd woven (hence the name Nightmare). One of these days I'll look up the instructions for the strip method and give this pattern another shot because it is an eye-catcher.
