Brian's Camp
Killbuck Creek Quilts
Brian's Camp
24"
square
This small wallhanging was the first I made. It was a birthday present for one of our oldest and dearest friends. I sized it so that I could use the arrow as a hanger.
This wallhanging was made from what we quilter's
call "cheater" cloth, ie: fabric that has been printed to look like a quilt. I cut out the portions I wanted to use and appliqued them to the pieced background.  I had not learned to do much "fancy" quilting then, so it has mostly in the ditch quilting. One other note, this was the year of Halley's comet, which I quilted
into one of the panels.
